Missions

missionsMissions are at the heart of what we do at Deer Park.  For us, it’s not just about meeting someone’s spiritual needs, but also trying to help their physical, mental, and emotional ones as well.  We participate in local, state, and international missions.

The largest state mission project we participate in each year is Extreme Build.  We partner with other churches in the Kentucky Baptist Fellowship to build a house in McCreary County, Kentucky.  McCreary County is one of the 20 poorest counties in the United States and the purpose of Extreme Build is to help combat rural poverty.  You can learn more about Extreme Build by going to our Links tab and clicking on the KBF link.
